I've been using various models of Logitech thumb operated trackballs for decades. going back to the original TrackMan.Minor Improvements: Bluetooth connectivity was a nice addition to this model but it still comes with the Logitech bolt which wirelessly connects the trackball to a USB port. Another upgrade is the center scroll wheel doesn't make the rather loud, and definitely annoying, "click click" noise with every actuation. On this model, using the center scroll wheel is essentially silent... and that's a welcome improvement.Flaws: In the optional use Logitech software there's no way to set the sensitivity of the primary and secondary (left and right) selection buttons... and both, but especially the left click button, are too sensitive. I found a work-around, but a modification of Logitech software to address this would be helpful. The two programmable buttons, OEM set to "forward page" and "backward page", are useful but the ability to assign additional functions would be nice.In the end, this is a worthwhile upgrade to a great ergonomic design but, as good as it is, it's a little aggravating Logitech still needs basic 2025 upgrades to the M570 design... first released in Sept of 2010.
Good option for small and/or irregular spaces where a mouse won’t work, or with limited arm movement. Well made, connects fine both on bluetooth and it’s own link, good to use. The wheel and buttons feel good, and it’s comfortable to use for a large hand.
Got a new computer and while ive used a Logitech mouse like this for years (M570), it started acting funny after a windows update. From what I read the latest update from Windows, no matter all of the probable fixes, dont bother. I did and they were right. Now granted I had been using this mouse for probably over 15 yrs, so figured I got way more than my money our of it. New mouse works the same and odd issues were gone. Also is Bluetooth so it can connect to my laptop too at the push of a button. Love this mouse. Has saved my arm, hands and wrists for ages doing a lot of computer work
So far so good. However I have replaced my other Logitech mouse probably about 4 times (older model of this one). They would for after about 2 yrs. So I'm crossing my fingers hoping that this newer model will to l last longer. It has a softer click so it's less noisy but everything else seems the same
I have never had bad luck with logitech. Has always been a great product. At least for me. This purchase was to replace a 20 yr old mouse almost identical to this one. Yep, I get my $$'s worth.
